The Duffers Creek Betting System

Here is a system which I found on my computer. I came up with it several years ago after Duffer’s Creek won the Wanganui WFA.  There are not many horses which qualify. It is interesting to note that three recent winners of the Wanganui WFA were qualifiers of this system. They were Duffers Creek, Dolcetto, and Amusez Moi.

That Wanganui race is on this Saturday.

THE DUFFER’S CREEK BETTING SYSTEM

RULE ONE

Must have raced at least three times since a layoff

RULE TWO

Must have last raced within the previous fifteen days.

RULE THREE

Must not have shown a negative form line in its last three starts

RULE FOUR

Must not have won within its last four starts

RULE FIVE

Adding the last three form figures together, the total must not exceed 15

Positive form lines

When we are looking for a positive form line, we mean a horse in its last three starts has improved its finishing position or at least has not finished further back then its previous start. The ideal form line would be 432 but form 633 also qualifies.

Adding these three form figures together would give you a form total of 9. That is 4+3+2=9 which qualifies as a selection.

Some horses that qualified & won about this time last year in previous seasons, their form, and their dividends were: Gabriel $6.00 and $2.20, Sixties Groove $3.90 and $2.00, Dolcetto $7.30 and $2.30, Call Me Irish 653 $8.50, Accidental Offside 542 $9.00, Veracious 552 $7.50, Its a Wonder 843 $2.70, Duffers Creek 633 $9.00, Madonna Mia 762 $4.60, Amusez Moi 622 $5.80

Horses for courses system does well at Wanganui therefore note anything which has won or finished placed on the course. Wanganui trained horses have a good record on their home track; take particular note of those that have raced not longer than 14 days ago.

Trainers that do well at this meeting are Lisa Latta and Allan Sharrock. The Latta yard seems to have one which wins at such a price that it covers the cost of backing all of the stable’s runners. In the last 2 years that has been the case.

Those horses that won or finished second or third at Trentham have a good record here.
