The other, Let’srollthedice won over 1100m in heavy going. On that basis I am going for Peru who won over 1300m at Bendigo last time. This will be just his third race. SHE SMASHES won over 1200m at Pakenham last time. She is drawn wide but that may not matter on a roomy track like Flemington. AARDVARK is another to watch for. He won over 1100m at Flemington last time. Who knows how the step up to 1400m will go. You will be taking him on trust. Of the others EVAPORATE was narrowly beaten two weeks ago; albeit a maiden race while LA BELLA BONDI is on a seven day backup having raced on the course last Saturday. If you are looking for a bolter it is her. STAY FOCUSED finished within 2 lengths of the winner in the Blue Diamond Stakes. That is good form but the rise in distance may find him out.
