If there was one long shot that may finish in the money at Hastings, it is Veracious in the last. I was impressed by its course and distance when winning June and had her in mind for the Spring carnival but she ran down the track in two heavy tracks since but I think the better going will be in her favour and she is worth a bet at who knows what her odds will be. Other horses tomorrow at Hastings I like are Colonel Carrera race 1, Michelin race 2, Serena Miss race 3, The Knights Queen race 4, Southern Icon race 6, Kawi race 7, and Valante race 8
Selena Miss looks the best bet. She is a group 2 winner and Leith Innes who rides her has had one previous ride on Serena Miss for a win.
