Mostly Cloudy hard to beat in the Brisbane Cup

MOSTLY CLOUDY ticks a lot of boxes in the Brisbane Cup, a race where there is a lack of real standout. Mostly Cloudy finished half-a-length behind The Map in the Ramsden Stakes last time and he has to be put on top. He has won at 2 miles from just two starts at the distance. AMADE and SELINO are good horses at 2 miles and cannot be ruled out. Amade won the Sandown Cup with 60kg and has 58.5kg in this race. Selino won last year’s Brisbane Cup but he is 8 years old now. For a real roughie TAPPY’S LAD could surprize. He gets in with just 53kg and will be fitter for his recent outing.
