Interllectus hard to beat in the Manawatu Steeples
INTERLLECTUS finished second to PASSWORD at Hawera 19/5 and can go one better despite to the stronger field. He is unbeaten at the course and distance but he will appreciate much wetter going than he encountered at Hawera. WEST COAST is the class horse of the field who has won seven of his ten steeplechases. He will be well supported as will be HEY HAPPY, who was the beaten $1.50 favourite at Wanganui last time. That was his second chase in 5 days and he never backed up from it.
