Milly Bloom picked for the Roses at Doomben
MOLLY BLOOM is my pick for Saturday’s Roses at Doomben. She finished strongly for second in the Bracelet at the Sunshine Coast first up since February and will be suited by better going. Molly Bloom is a Group 1 winner of the 1000 Guineas in New Zealand last November. AMAZONIAN LASS beat Molly Bloom last time. She will again be her main danger. She is expected to find the extra distance to her liking. Other main chances are TUTTA LA VITA, PRIVATE LEGACY, MOLLY KNICKERS, and POIFECT.
Tutta La Vita gave Orchestral a run for her money in the G1 Vinery Stud Stakes two starts back but has not raced since the ATC Oaks. Private Legacy was narrowly beaten in the South Australian Oaks. Molly Knickers has been thereabouts in most of the three year old features while Poifect won the Adelaide Guineas last time and is on the way up.
