Benedetta hard to beat in the Stradbroke
BENEDETTA is nicely drawn at 6 in Saturday’s Stradbroke Handicap at Eagle Farm. He won the Goodwood Stakes last time out at Adelaide and with 8 wins from 15 starts he has a good horse’s record. The favourite is Vilana. He is the biggest danger to Benedetta. Vilana won well at Eagle Farm two weeks ago and generally holds form when he strikes it. SEMANA is another horse I like. She is a proven Group 1 performer. AMENABLE ois one for long shot backers. He gets in light for a horse that ran second in the All aged Stakes with 59kg. He may be right in this.
